Card Watch · last updated 2 August 2026
This policy covers Card Watch — the public pages at
cards.brandonlawrencerealty.com, including this site's home page and the product
pages under /links. Card Watch is operated by The Card Breaks.
The public pages of this site do not ask you for personal information, do not require an
account, and do not run advertising, analytics or session-recording trackers. The product pages
under /links run one small third-party script whose only job is to add affiliate
tracking to the retailer links — it is described in full below. If you click a product link, you
leave this site and the retailer's own privacy policy applies to you from that point.
/links product pages only.
We use ShopMy's auto-linking script (static.shopmy.us). It runs in your browser and
does one thing: it rewrites the outbound retailer links on the page so they point at
go.shopmy.us, which forwards you to the retailer and records the click for
commission. It makes no network requests of its own, sets no cookies, loads no tracking pixel,
and does not read or transmit anything about you or your browsing. Our home page and the
Card Watch app do not load it at all.The public pages do not set cookies of their own, and the affiliate link script described above sets none either. If you click an affiliate link, the affiliate network and the retailer may set cookies on their own domains so a resulting purchase can be attributed — this is how affiliate commission works, and it is described below.
Some product links on this site are affiliate links. If you click one and go on to buy something, we may earn a commission from the retailer, at no additional cost to you. Clicking an affiliate link typically passes through the affiliate network's domain, which records the click so any resulting sale can be credited.
We currently use two affiliate programmes, and which one applies depends on the retailer:
go.shopmy.us on the way to the store. When a link is rewritten for ShopMy, your browser sends the address of the page you clicked
from (for example /links/pokemon/) to go.shopmy.us as the referring page.
Those are public product-listing pages and the address contains nothing about you.
Target links are never affiliate links. We monitor and link to Target as a plain link and earn nothing from it, by choice.
Affiliate relationships never change the price you pay, and they do not decide what we track or what gets posted. We link to the retailer's own product page — we do not resell and we do not mark up prices. Where a product carries no affiliate relationship, we link to it plainly anyway.
Where we measure clicks on our own links, we record the time, which product was clicked, which channel the click came from, and the referring website's host name. We do not record your IP address, we do not record the full referring URL, and we do not build a profile of you or attempt to identify you.
We do not collect names, email addresses, postal addresses, phone numbers or payment details through these pages. We never sell data, because we do not hold any to sell. Purchases happen entirely on the retailer's own site and we receive no payment information from them — commission reporting shows totals, not the identity of the person who bought.
This site links out to retailers and affiliate networks. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices. Their policies apply once you leave here.
Card Watch is intended for adult collectors and resellers. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
This domain also hosts a private, password-protected inventory tool used by the operator, which has its own separate privacy policy. That application is not part of Card Watch, is not publicly accessible, and nothing described in this policy relates to it.
If this policy changes we will update the date at the top of this page.
Questions about this policy or about Card Watch can be directed to the operator, Brandon Lawrence (The Card Breaks), at brandonl@mplsnetvisions.com. More detail is on the About page.
